To manage and deliver e-learning to employees, organisations use a Learning Management System (LMS). Interskill offers web deployment via our own MyInterskill LMS or we are well equipped to support your own corporate LMS.

    Your own customized LMS.

    As part of your mainframe learning solution from Interskill, we set up a branded LMS for you. As you log into the MyInterskill LMS you will see your own company logo and message.

    STUDENTS go to the myinterskill.co.uk website and enter an assigned UserID and Password. Here they find individual learning plans, access their targeted training and can run reports on their own progress and results.

    MANAGERS can assign personnel individual courses, sets of courses or specific learning plans; and can run comprehensive reports on student progress and achievement. Managers can also allocate senior personnel as Mentors for junior staff members.

    The MyInterskill LMS is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year - access at your fingertips to maximize your training solution.

Features of the MyInterskill LMS

The MyInterskill LMS draws upon a range of features to enable your employees to gain the most from their learning experience, quickly accessing the training they need when they need it whilst having additional, supporting information at their fingertips. A number of administrative features are also available to aid you in managing the system. These are summarised here.

Mainframe Courses
Students access their assigned e-learning courses via the "My Courses" button on the interface or via the top menu.

Mainframe Skills Assessment
Students access their assigned Mainframe Assessments via the "My Assessments" button on the interface or via the top menu.

This valuable tool assesses your mainframe workforce's skill levels in core mainframe computing areas. Comprehensive banks of scenario based questions will accurately tell managers their personnel's strengths and indicate where they need additional training. Students will use assessments to benchmark a knowledge level - complete training - and then post test to show a quantifiable improvement in skills and knowledge.

Rreporting
Managers can run comprehensive reports on student progress and results, keeping track of training completed, skill gains and ROI. Students can run reports on their own progress and even print off Completion Certificates.

Mentoring
Utilise the experience and knowledge of your senior people by assigning them as mentors for other personnel. Students will enter questions in the mentoring field and those questions will be automatically emailed to their assigned mentor. The interaction between mentor and mentee will significantly improve skill and knowledge gains.

Learning Plans
Structure is essential for effective learning. Quickly and easily give structure to your mainframe training program with graphical, defined path of learning activity for each mainframe job role. Tailor these learning plans to target your organisation specific training needs by adding to the e-learning courses with classroom courses, on the job training sessions, mentoring sessions, manuals, internal process and procedure and standards documents -- any mainframe training resources you have available.
